An update on my status for CANSEC

Let's talk about me and CANSEC.

I have many people asking about my status, and im very happy to all the supportive people who have sent me love and want to meet me at the event. Unfortunately my status is in the air as of now.

The person whom I was getting a pass from will sadly no longer be able to. This is no fault to them, as they were recently let go from their job. I learnt a few days ago. Send some love to them. Theyre awesome and really worked hard to get me in while they could.

Im working on alternatives but obviously that depends on if someone comes through with an extra pass! I will be in Ottawa next week, but my status for CANSEC is up in the air. Some of you knew that as im still looking to meet with those who want to meet me, and if you want to meet me im still available.

I am not a CADSI member, obviously. I also wont spend over a grand to go. I am an independent analyst. I have no backing, no organization, and limited resources, so this was always a very difficult thing to pull off. It happens sometimes that certain things are mostly beyond me.

So im not out yet. I will be in Ottawa anyways because I do have friends and family I wanna see, but my status for CANSEC is unclear as of now. I would obviously love to attend, but my hands are tied on my own!

Obviously if people want to meet im more than available! Im still excited to see my friends both in CAF and industry whom ive already set meeting with. I promise I aint canceling plans for you guys! Youll still get to deal with my annoying ass! My work husband is waiting for me there. 🤣

This isnt a direct no. I am hopeful that someone else I know can come through with another pass with a week still to go. I just dont want hopes up if I can't.
