120 hull has more of an icebreaking bow than the 105 hull.

Given what they wrote in the subtitles there regarding an amphib that is what the 120 might be.

Now that’s a warship, and tbh it’d seem like this might be in the bag for them even tho we are so early into the project.

Still dont know what Seaspan has, and Vard has a Premier team behind them and a long history of designing vessels for the navy. This might actually be a very tight comeptition.

Ontario Shipyards competing with 2 bigger shipyards with extensive shipbuilding history. Not to downplay Ontario Shipyards but I truly see this project getting a bit dicey for jobs between Quebec and BC.

A CDC with ice class, frees up the RCD for Pacific and Atlantic, while the CDC support the AOP's. Not the biggest fan of Davie, but if they can pull off a ice class CDC without giving up to much for that, then I can support it.

Still think if the ship is to be arctic/remote capable there needs to be the ability to support helicopter operations. Perhaps not an assigned flight detachment but the ability to conduct repairs, refuel and rearm.
